When you get close to something interesting, it will notify you and if you have a headset or bluetooth connected, it can even read the info to you.

Field Trip can help you learn about everything from local history to the latest and best places to shop, eat, and have fun. You select the local feeds you like and the information pops up on your phone automatically, as you walk next to those places.

Experts at Sunset, Cool Hunting, WeHeart, Inhabitat, and Remodelista will guide you to the latest unique stores and products. Atlas Obscura and Daily Secret help you uncover hidden gems no matter where you are. Songkick and Flavorpill guide you to local music.

Pros and cons of Field Trip app for iPhone and iPad

Field Trip app good for

Fun app, but it could be more interesting with friends and badges earned.

This app is a lot of fun and very interesting, but it does not have the reputation it deserves.

Im a huge history person and I love this app! Its a great way to learn and explore things either at your hometown or when traveling. Highly recommend!

This is a pretty neat app. Already learned about a few places locally. Great for travelling to get info on the space around you.

Some bad moments

Wonderful idea, exactly what I was looking for. But completely messed up with bad usability. For example, I am not interested in lifestyle or restaurants, but there is no way to disable the whole category. You need to disable every feed individually. And if Im hungry and for a moment I do want restaurants, enable all the feeds again. What a joke. Uninstalled halfway through toggling 100 feeds, because if you dont hit the box just right, off you go to another page. Good idea ruined by shitty execution.

Seems more interesting than Pokemon Go but it crashes right when i try opening it :(

Havent been able to open it a single time because it keeps crashing on my 6S+.

its realy a shame becouse I would love this app but im very mad becouse of this, please fix

The app sounds like its just what I needed I down loaded it it will not work at all. I deleted it then reinstalled still doesnt work at all! Its a waste of my data!!! When are you going to fix the problem??? Ive waited 2 weeks!!!

This company is a joke, I became interested in their products after using Pokemon go, their products are filled with glitches and are laggy under the best of circumstances.
