Field Trip App Reviews

Most of the historic photos in our town contain incorrect information and are placed somewhat randomly on the map.

Featurewise the app is ok but it keeps on tracking your location and not sure what it is doing doing with that data or to whom it is sending the data for what purpose. Changed setting to use location only when using the app.

The app sounds awesome but most of the stuff they show you is history site. Not really adventurous stuff :/

It is a battery-draining app. Despite setting up occasional updates it ate up 9% of battery life in just 24 hours when I had never opened the app.

I can note for our area on NJ it is populated 80% by the blue Bergen County Historical Society markers. It has the marker text but fails to note the BCHS (a volunteer non profit) whose program it is, did the research and wrote the text -- at no public expense. Suggest giving credit where due.

Let me know when this is fixed and Ill reinstall. It sounds like a great app concept.

I like the idea and it could be helpful but need to ad filter option, easier to sort categories than just color. App needs development.

I would love to have an app that does what this one seems like its going to but doesnt do. Most of the time I have no idea what the app is prattling on about. It usually doesnt even tell you the name or the location of the places(?) its pushing articles about.

I love this! Really a great way to explore your surroundings. I love that blogs and organizations content can be accessed. Id like to see a Google Navigation integration.

I love having so much local information gathered in one place. Ive discovered many interesting tidbits through this app. I dont use the speak aloud feature, and have varied the amount of notifications I want, but I love being able to pull it out when Im somewhere wondering the backstory of something or trying to figure out whats interesting nearby. I would love for this app to stay alive and become even more robust.
